Phew. Karen made a great call by moving up our flight one day. The flight we would have tried to take on Wednesday was obliterated by the blizzard.
Having successfully flown on Tuesday, we arrived on Wednesday in Bilbao and took a bus to San Sebastian, where we spent the morning and the afternoon and the evening and the evening and the morning and the afternoon and we were never sure exactly what time of day it was because we were afflicted by jetlag.
In my rare moments of clarity, I have been struggling with the formatting of this blog. I almost gave up on it, but late today I finally had a eureka moment and fixed all the problems that have been vexing me. (Famous last words, I know...)
